Some may foolishly downplay the power of Disney and furries, but it really feels like it can’t be ignored here. Zootopia 2 is nearing a billion at the box office, sitting at $915.8 million as it chugs along not even two weeks in theaters.

The real breadwinners here in terms of countries that have jumped to theaters to watch the film internationally include China, France, and South Korea.

Zootopia 2 puts bunny cop Judy Hopps (voiced by Gennifer Goodwin) and reformed con-man-turned-cop Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) into a new wacky adventure to clear the name of the reptile population of the city.

Zootopia 2‘s success no doubt signals Disney will get eager to kickstart Zootopia 3, but we suspect it’ll be a while before we hear more from the duo again.
