Zootopia 2 beats out Avengers: Endgame in China as highest-grossing US movie

Disney’s Zootopia 2 has definitely been a success, topping plenty of charts, no doubt at least in part, due to its use of snakes, but it has a new thing to feel proud of. It’s beat Avengers: Endgame in becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood film to open in the Middle Kingdom.

That’s right, Disney’s furry buddy comedy cop flick surpassed one of the MCU’s biggest films. Now, it is kind of close, but we know that gap will continue to grow as the film still seems to be in theaters.

That said, Endgame is poised to release to theaters again ahead of Doomsday‘s 2027 release.
